A warm and wonderful electric blanket will keep you cozy all year long!

When it’s cold outside (it is 17 degrees here in Michigan on the day this was written) you want a solution that will keep you cozy and comfortable. Electric blankets are truly a underrated item. They’re not expensive, and they can really make the difference in your left of warmth and comfort in many situations. Whether you want to curl up with a good book, or you want to heat up a little as you go to bed, an electric blanket will be a small investment that pays big-time.

There are several different quality levels an manufacturers. Sunbeam makes a ton of them and Amazon.com has them at great prices. They’re soft, fuzzy, and large (they come in different sizes). The ones we found from Sunbeam were one hundred percent polyester microfiber plush. They feel great and are very warm, and are easy to use. They feature a nice six foot power cord, three levels of warmth, and an auto shut-off after three hours. The auto off is pretty nice so you don’t forget and leave it on all day or all night. They also have something incredible called the “ThermoFine Warming System.” What this does is senses heat in different zones of your body and automatically increases and decreases heat as needed. Awesome. Sunbeam tops it off with a two year warranty, and it is machine washable. If you can’t tell, we really love these little bundles from Sunbeam.

Sleepwarmer makes some too, but we suggest you choose wisely and look at reviews if you’re interested in this brand, as some of the products seem to review poorly. There’s no point in regretting your purchase and having to go out and get something else, which just wastes your hard earned money and time. Conversely, Biddeford makes well-reviewed electric blankets you can feel warm all over when you buy (yeah, that was cheesy, lol).

The reality here is that Sunbeam seems to be the king of the market and their products are simply wonderful. They work better than you expect them do, cost less than you expect them too, and are easier to care for that you’d think as well. Really, how much better can it get? We’d by a Sunbeam product any day, but we wanted to be sure to mention some other options for you as well. Go out and feel good about getting the electric blanket you’ve always wanted.
